Employment Solicitor / Employment Lawyer (Part-Time Remote)
\nSalary -£45,000£60,000 FTE (pro rata depending on experience)
\nLocation -Predominantly home-based with occasional travel to our Cheshire office.

As our Employment Law division continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Employment Solicitor or Employment Lawyer to join our friendly, supportive and ambitious team on a part-time basis.

\nThe Role
\nWorking closely with our experienced HR professionals, you will advise a wide range of clients across different sectors on all aspects of employment law.
\nYour responsibilities will include providing practical, commercially focused employment law advice to employers.

- Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, capability, discrimination, redundancy and TUPE. \n
- Drafting contracts of employment, policies, handbooks and settlement agreements. \n
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to conclusion. \n
- Representing clients at Preliminary Hearings where appropriate and liaising with Counsel on more complex matters. \n
- Supporting our HR Consultants with complex employee relations issues. \n
- Building strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional level of service. \n
About You
\nWe are looking for someone who -
\n- \n
- Is a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Lawyer. \n
- Ideally has at least one years employment law experience. \n
- Has excellent drafting and communication skills. \n
- Enjoys working directly with clients and providing practical commercial advice. \n
- Can manage their own workload whilst working as part of a supportive team. \n
- Is enthusiastic, approachable and keen to develop within a growing business. \n
