Master Technician / Senior Diagnostic Technician

Are you the technician that everyone turns to when no one else can find the fault?

We are a well-established, family-run franchised motor dealership in Twickenham looking to recruit an exceptional Master Technician / Senior Diagnostic Technician to join our workshop.

This is a key position within our aftersales team, working on some of the most technically challenging repairs and diagnostics while supporting other technicians with complex fault finding.

What were looking for

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 8 years hands-on experience within a franchised dealership environment.
\n
• Outstanding diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
\n
• The ability to diagnose and rectify complex electrical, mechanical and electronic vehicle faults.
\n
• Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information systems.
\n
• The confidence to tackle difficult, intermittent and previously unresolved vehicle issues.
\n
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
\n
• A full UK driving licence.
\n

Master Technician accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate with proven experience.

Your responsibilities

\n
• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults to manufacturer standards.
\n
• Support and mentor fellow technicians with difficult diagnostic cases.
\n
• Complete high-quality repairs right first time.
\n
• Liaise with Service Advisors and Workshop Control regarding technical issues.
\n
• Maintain accurate job records and follow manufacturer repair procedures.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
\n
