The Opportunity\n

A well-established and growing engineering services business is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of its service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Fire & Security, Facilities Management or another service-led engineering environment who is looking to play a key role within a busy and expanding organisation.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will lead the office administration function, support operational performance and ensure engineers, customers and clients receive an efficient and professional service.

The Role\n

As Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the administration team while overseeing the smooth running of daily service operations. You will coordinate engineer scheduling, monitor workloads and ensure service reports, compliance documentation and quotations are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.

You will work closely with engineers, customers and suppliers to ensure reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial works are delivered efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of customer service. The role also involves producing operational reports, monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements\n

Applicants MUST have previous experience as an Office Manager, Service Manager or Senior Service Administrator within a service-led engineering environment such as Fire & Security, Facilities Management, HVAC, Building Services or a similar industry.

\n

You should have experience scheduling engineers, managing customer portals and compliance documentation, and supervising an administration team. Strong organisational skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and confidence using service management software are all essential.

\n

Experience with field service management systems and an understanding of reactive maintenance, PPM scheduling, remedial works and service level agreements would be highly advantageous.
