Job Description
Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to work in Crewe.
\nJob Role: Programming, setting and operating CNC Turning machines using FANUC controls, working from engineering drawings to produce bespoke one-off and small batch components. The role involves machining a variety of materials, including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, plastics, and composites, to tight tolerances. You will be responsible for producing first-off samples for inspection and ensuring accuracy throughout the machining process.

- Pay: Up to £18 per hour (£38,000 per annum) \n
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week) \n
- Duration: Permanent \n

- Overtime available at enhanced rates (x1.5) \n
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 31 with service) \n

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Programming CNC Turning machines \n
- Setting and operating CNC Turning machines \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings \n
Desired Skills & Experience:

- Experience using FANUC controls \n
- Experience in a contract machine shop \n
Essential Qualifications:
\n- \n
- City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent \n
Desired Qualifications:

- CNC Programming qualifications \n
- CAD/CAM qualifications \n
