Supervising classes during teacher absences.

Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.

Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining an engaging learning environment.

Supporting students to stay focused and complete classwork.

Building confidence in managing groups of young people.

Gaining invaluable school-based experience before progressing into teacher training

PERSON SPECIFICATION Cover Supervisor - Ideal for STEM Graduates

A degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline).

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Confidence working with young people.

A positive, proactive and professional attitude.

Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.
