The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Director of Building Surveying to lead and grow a Building Surveying division in the Midlands. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to shape strategy, drive business development, and deliver high-profile projects across a diverse client base.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n
• Lead and develop the Building Surveying team, providing strategic direction and mentorship
\n
• Drive business growth through client relationship management and new business development
\n
• Oversee delivery of a wide range of professional and project services including:\n
  \n
  • Dilapidations
  \n
  • Technical due diligence
  \n
  • Contract administration
  \n
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  \n
\n
• Ensure high standards of service delivery and technical excellence
\n
• Contribute to overall company strategy and leadership decisions
\n
• Manage key client accounts and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
\n
• Support recruitment, training, and development of team members
\n

\nAbout You\n

\n
• MRICS qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
\n
• Proven track record in a senior or leadership role within Building Surveying
\n
• Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
\n
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
\n
• Experience delivering projects across commercial, industrial, or mixed-use sectors
\n
• Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to grow a team and service line
\n
