\nWe are supporting a growing, multi-site manufacturing business in hiring a Multiskilled Shift Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.\n
\nYou will play a key role in maximising equipment reliability and supporting production targets across both electrical and mechanical systems.\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance
\n
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
\n
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and support production teams
\n
• Conduct routine equipment inspections
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
\n
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
\n
• Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment
\n
• Follow health and safety standards
\n

Experience & Qualifications\n
\n

\n
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar environment
\n
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (e.g. PLCs, hydraulics, motors, conveyors)
\n
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
\n
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
\n
• Good communication skills
