HGV Class 1 Driver

Class 1 HGV Drivers Required Tramper & Day Drivers | Coventry (CV6)

365 People Coventry Branch is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a well-established client based in Coventry (CV6). We are looking for both Tramper Drivers and Day Drivers to join our growing team on a full-time, ongoing basis.

Pay

• £19.00 per hour (LTD)
\n
• £25.00 per night out (for Tramper Drivers)
\n

The Role

\n
• Driving modern Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles.
\n
• Start times between 04:00 and 08:00.
\n
• Delivering loads to customers on the outskirts of London and surrounding areas.
\n
• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift.
\n
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on time.
\n
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards when delivering to clients.
\n
• Following all driving legislation, Working Time Directive, and Driver Hours regulations.
\n

Both day work and tramping positions are available, allowing flexibility depending on your preference.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
\n
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
\n
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
\n
• A minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
\n
• No more than 3 penalty points for minor driving offences.
\n
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
\n
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
\n

An ADR licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training opportunities may become available for the right candidates.
