\nSalary: £36,000 - £38,000 DOE
\nHours:
\nMonday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:00am 5:30pm
\nTuesday & Thursday: 8:00am 7:00pm
\nNo weekend working.

The Role\nAs an MOT Tester, you'll play an important role within the workshop, carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards while supporting the wider team with vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs where required.
\nThe successful candidate will be committed to delivering work to the highest standard whilst providing customers with confidence that their vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.

Identify defects and advise on any remedial work required.
\n - \n
Complete MOT documentation accurately and efficiently.
\n - \n
Carry out vehicle servicing and light mechanical repairs when required.
\n - \n
Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
\n - \n
Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
\n - \n
Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team.
\n - \n
Deliver excellent customer service through quality workmanship.
\n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A current and valid DVSA MOT Tester qualification.
\n - \n
Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within a busy workshop.
\n - \n
A full UK driving licence.
\n - \n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
\n - \n
Excellent attention to detail.
\n - \n
A positive and professional attitude.
\n - \n
A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
\n - \n
A reliable, committed and hardworking approach to your work.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
