ServiceNow Developer - Manchester (Hybrid) - Permanent\n
\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a ServiceNow Developer to work within a global law firm on a permanent basis based in Manchester.\n
\nThis role will support the ongoing development and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform, delivering scalable solutions that support business operations and strategic initiatives.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
\nConfigure, develop and support ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB and other platform capabilities.\n
\nDevelop and maintain platform automation using UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts and Script Includes.\n
\nDesign and deliver custom applications, workflows and platform enhancements aligned with business requirements.\n
\nBuild and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, IntegrationHub and third-party APIs.\n
\nSupport platform performance, data integrity, security and governance standards.\n
\nManage roles, groups, access controls, update sets, instance cloning and platform upgrades.\n
\nEnsure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and aligned with ServiceNow best practice.\n
\nPerform unit and regression testing and support user acceptance testing.\n
\nKey Experience\n
\nProven hands-on ServiceNow development experience.\n
\nStrong JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS and JSON skills.\n
\nExperience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and Scripted REST APIs.\n
\nExperience developing integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers and third-party APIs.\n
\nExperience managing update sets and supporting instance migrations.\n
\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n
\nUnderstanding of ITIL and ITSM principles.\n
\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) desirable.\n
\nAdditional ServiceNow certifications across ITSM, ITOM or HRSD desirable.\n
\nExperience with ITOM Discovery, CMDB modelling or Service Mapping desirable.\n
\nExperience within a legal services environment desirable.\n
\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern web technologies desirable.\n
