\nJob Role & Key Responsibilities:\n

\n Diagnose and repair faults across a wide range of equipment, including conveyors, packaging systems, and automated machinery \n -
\n Carry out electrical fault-finding using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools \n -
\n Work on a mix of new and older plant machinery - Factory 1 being over 30 years old alongside recently installed equipment \n -
\n Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely with minimal downtime \n -
\n Liaise with Engineering Team Leaders and Coordinators to manage workload and priorities \n -
\n Keep accurate maintenance records in line with company and regulatory standards \n -
\n Support a team culture that values continuous improvement and safety \n
\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n
\n

\n Multi-skilled engineer with proven experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred, food desirable) \n -
\n Strong electrical skill set including: \n -
\n Fault finding using schematics \n -
\n Working with inverters, sensors, relays, contactors \n -
\n Experience with single and three-phase systems \n -
\n Mechanical knowledge and hands-on ability to support breakdowns and improvements \n -
\n NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (Apprenticeship route preferred) \n -
\n Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and manage reactive scenarios \n -
\n Excellent communication and team collaboration \n
\nDesirable Skills:\n
\n

\n Previous exposure to automated production lines and legacy systems \n -
\n Working knowledge of packaging equipment \n -
\n Basic PLC fault finding or awareness (training can be offered) \n
