Class 1 Driver

nteraction Recruitment are recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers in Luton.

Pay Rate: £17.00 to £19.00 per hour

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK. Work may include trunking, store deliveries, RDC-to-RDC runs, container work, or general haulage depending on client requirements.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
\n
• Safely operate articulated vehicles (trucks/trailers)
\n
• Transport goods between depots, warehouses, and customer sites
\n
• Ensure all paperwork and/or electronic PODs are completed accurately
\n
• Comply with tachograph rules, driving hours, and road safety regulations
\n
• Load/unload where required (depending on role)
\n
• Maintain professional communication with planners, customers, and site staff
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
\n
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
\n
• Minimum 2 years experience.
\n
• Good understanding of UK road networks and driving regulation
\n
