Vehicle Technician

• £32,000 - £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience and diagnostic ability.

• 45-hour working week.

• Monday to Friday (7:00am-5:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm).

• 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am-1:00pm), with occasional additional Saturday cover during annual leave periods.

• Service and maintain a wide variety of cars and light commercial vehicles.
\n
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
\n
• Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, clutches, timing components and engine work.
\n
• Complete vehicle health checks and provide repair recommendations.
\n
• Maintain high standards of workmanship while working collaboratively with the wider workshop team.
\n

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
\n
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician.
\n
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence.
\n
• An MOT Tester licence and Air Conditioning qualification would be advantageous but are not essential.
\n
