\n Are you an experienced Aerodynamicist looking to work on some of the UK's most advanced aerospace programmes?\n
\n BAE Systems is seeking a talented Senior Aerodynamicist to join their Flight Sciences Engineering team, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions across current and future air platforms.\n
\n Please note you must be a Sole UK national and eligible for SC clearance\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Provide aerodynamic engineering support across a wide range of current and future BAE Systems Air programmes.
\n
• Undertake aerodynamic research, design, computational analysis, simulation and testing.
\n
• Support flight clearance activities for complex air vehicles.
\n
• Contribute to the development and evolution of aerodynamic toolsets and digital engineering capabilities.
\n
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, research organisations and engineering partners.
\n
• Ensure engineering activities are delivered in accordance with company governance, quality standards and Agile ways of working.
\n
• Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures.
\n

Key Skills\n
\n

\n
• Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience within an aerodynamics research or industrial environment.
\n
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more specialist aerodynamic disciplines.
\n
• Experience working collaboratively with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
\n
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Aerospace Engineering or another relevant STEM discipline.
