Proactive Personnel Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Supervisor within a busy manufacturing environment.

\n


\n

As an Electrical Supervisor this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong electrical background to oversee production activities, drive team performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

\n

The Role:

\n

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of electrical panel wirers and fitters, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Key responsibilities of the Electrical Supervisors are Leading, supporting and motivating a team of electrical assembly technicians, panel builders, and fitters.
  • \n
  • Take ownership of allocated projects from planning through to successful completion.
  • \n
  • Ensure all testing and inspection procedures are completed accurately and documented before products are released for final assembly.
  • \n
  • Organise and prioritise daily workloads to meet project milestones and production schedules.
  • \n
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Manufacturing Manager on project status and team performance.
  • \n
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • \n
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, and PPE requirements.
  • \n
  • Support employee development through mentoring, coaching, performance management, and involvement in disciplinary procedures when required.
  • \n
  • Follow and uphold all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • \n
\n

Essential Skills & Experience:

\n
    \n
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a Electrical Supervisory or Leadership role within a manufacturing, engineering, automation, or equipment-build environment.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • \n
  • Previous hands-on experience in electrical fitting, panel wiring, or machine assembly.
  • \n
  • Technically minded, with knowledge of inverter parameter configuration or a willingness to develop these skills.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to manage projects, solve problems, and work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • \n
  • Experience coordinating teams to achieve production deadlines and quality objectives.
  • \n
\n

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • HNC (or equivalent qualification) in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • \n
\n
