Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: £30,000£32,500 per annum, plus bonus

We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our clients team in Staines. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to become part of a successful engineering business, producing high-quality precision components in a well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities for the Manual Machinist

• Machine precision component parts from engineering drawings using manual machine shop equipment.
\n
• Competently operate manual milling machines, lathes and drilling machines.
\n
• Work closely with Design Engineers to ensure components are manufactured accurately and resolve any issues as they arise.
\n
• Be flexible to work across different departments and undertake training where required.
\n

The selected Manual Machinist will need to meet the following requirements for the position;

• Proven experience operating manual machine shop equipment.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
\n
• A reliable, flexible team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
\n
• Committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
