An excellent opportunity for an experienced Panel Repair & Paint Technician to join a well-established company.
\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
\nSalary: Competitive Salary Per Annum, Depending on Experience / Skill
\nLocation: West Thurrock
\nSchedule: Monday Friday 7:00- 17:00 (45hrs per week) may be required to work additional hours, this may include Saturdays at time and a half.

\nAbout The Role:
\nThe company are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking individuals with experience in Panel repair/paint within the vehicle repair industry to join their expanding team.
\nPaint techs will be required to:
\nThe overall purpose with be to prepare repaired vehicles and loose panels for paint and to refinish the repaired vehicle and/or panels to a standard comparable to the original paintwork and in full accordance with professional standards of workmanship and vehicle road worthiness, including:
\nTo use abrasives to prepare the repaired vehicle and any loose panels for paint
\nTo ensure that all refinishing is carried out professionally and to the customers satisfaction, using the correct paint and in line with the manufacturers specification
\nTo complete the quality control process sheet after each stage and before it moves to the next stage
\nTo identify and handle hybrid cars correctly
\nTo ensure that all work is completed on time and without the need of rectification
\nAlways look to improve working methods, subject to the managers approval
\nAlways wear and use appropriate PPE and equipment where and when required
\nTo comply with company repair and safe working methods
\nAll Health and Safety procedures including COSHH to be used at all times
\nAll other reasonable tasks to be carried out at the request of a senior manager
\nPanel Techs will require to:
\nTo repair and replace damaged vehicle bodyworks and loose panels professionally using the correct equipment and methods
\nTo ensure that the repairs are to the customers satisfaction and in line with the manufacturers specification
\nTo carry out joining techniques including bonding, welding and riveting
\nTo complete the quality control process sheet after each stage and before it moves to next stage
\nTo ensure that a technician certified in the discipline countersigns your quality control process sheet before it moves to next stages
\nTo handle and identify hybrid vehicles correctly
\nTo ensure all the work is completed on time and without the need of rectification
\nAlways look to improve working methods, subject to the managers approval
\nAlways Wear correct PPE and use correct equipment where and when to do so
\nTo comply with company repair and safe working methods
\nAll health and safety procedures, including COSHH adhered to at all times
\nAny other reasonable tasks, as necessary to be carried out at the request of a senior manager
