Job Description

Our client based in South Manchester area require a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver.

We are paying £19.05 per hour (including holiday pay - £17.00ph with accrued holiday pay), Monday to Friday for an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

\n

This vacancy is working for a large, corporate business delivering construction components out of south Manchester. They require a temporary but ongoing, customer facing HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to carry out deliveries around the northwest, Monday to Friday with potential overtime. This role could potentially become a permanent and contracted role with the company for a reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB driver.

HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver will need:

    \n
  • Cat-C Licence
  • \n
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • \n
  • For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
  • \n
  • Experience with ratchet straps
  • \n
  • Excellent customer service skills and good literacy
  • \n
  • Full UK HGV Class 2 Driving licence, held for 2 years
  • \n
  • HIAB licence
  • \n
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • \n

HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver Duties will include:

    \n
  • Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
  • \n
  • Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
  • \n
  • Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
  • \n
  • Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
  • \n
  • Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner
  • \n
\n
