HGV Class 2 Driver

CDS Labour is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent family-run foodservice wholesaler supplying fresh, chilled, frozen, grocery, and non-food products to hospitality businesses across the UK.

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join the transport team in Dewsbury WF12

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with permanent employment offered after 12 successful weeks.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of foodservice products to a variety of customers, including:

• Restaurants
\n
• Pubs
\n
• Schools
\n
• Care homes
\n
• Other hospitality businesses
\n

\n
• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle on planned delivery routes
\n
• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
\n
• Load and unload goods using the appropriate equipment
\n
• Deliver orders accurately and on time
\n
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery
\n
• Complete daily vehicle checks and comply with all driver regulations
\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
\n
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
\n
• Good communication and customer service skills
\n
• A positive, reliable attitude with a strong work ethic
\n
• Must meet the company's insurance criteria (licence check required before interview)
\n

£17.50 per hour
\n Overtime available
\n Temp-to-perm after 12 weeks
