\nYoull be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.\n

What will you be doing?\n
\nYou'll prepare Highway Maintenance programmes in conjunction with the Depot Supervisors and Area Manager.\n
\nYou'll ensure all works are planned and coordinated and identify efficiency savings where appropriate.\n
\nWe'll ask you to liaise with and Highways Maintenance officers to ensure all works order information is provided to successfully schedule the work.\n
\nYou'll liaise and build positive working relationships with Cambridgeshires Streetworks team.\n
\nCreating, monitoring and updating Street works permits to create compliant programmes.\n
\nLiaise with the delivery teams to update programmes with progress.\n
\nBook Traffic Management from Supply Chain. Organise Advance warning signs and letter drops.\n
What youll bring\n
\nGood general IT skills are essential, and ideally, youll be proficient in Microsoft suite of programmes.\n
\nExperience in effective programming of construction or maintenance works, preferably in the highway maintenance industry\n
\nGreat team working skills, the ability to collaborate well with others and develop excellent relationships with contacts at all levels from the client to colleagues and contacts across Milestone and M Group Services.\n
\nExcellent communication skills verbal and written - to ensure clarity in all situations and to effectively influence client decision-making.\n
\nUnderstanding of the Traffic Management Act (Street works Noticing / Permitting).\n
\nUnderstanding of NRSWA/Safety at Street Works and Road Works: A Code of Practice.\n
