We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for milk tanker trunking work based in Whitland, South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport operation offering flexible working options, with both regular ongoing shifts and ad-hoc work available.

You will be operating modern Class 1 milk tankers on planned trunking routes, travelling depot-to-depot and supporting an essential supply chain operation. Full site and role-specific training will be provided at the start to ensure you are fully confident with the operation.

Key Responsibilities

Driving an HGV Class 1 milk tanker on scheduled trunking routes

Completing depot-to-depot movements safely and efficiently

Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness

Following all site procedures and safety requirements

Completing required paperwork and delivery records

Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations

Maintaining high standards of professionalism when representing the company

Reporting any vehicle defects or issues promptly

Requirements

Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence

Valid Driver CPC qualification

Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card

Previous milk tanker or tanker driving experience is required

Previous trunking experience is preferred

No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements

Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
