\nWorking pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm; Friday 8:45am-3:45pm

\nAre you an experienced HR Advisor, HR Officer, Employee Relations Advisor or People Advisor with experience supporting transport, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or another fast-moving operational environment?
\nRecruitME is recruiting for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join the Agriculture division of a major UK food and farming business.
\nThe role is primarily focused on supporting the transport department, working closely with transport managers, operational leaders, drivers and wider support teams.
\nYou will be based at Anwick, near Sleaford, with occasional travel to other agricultural locations, approximately once a month
\nYou will join a small, friendly and experienced HR team, supporting managers with employee relations, absence, performance, engagement, recruitment and the wider employee lifecycle.
\nAs HR Advisor, you will provide practical and legally compliant HR advice across a busy transport and agricultural operation.
\nYou will work closely with the Senior HR Advisor and HR Business Partner while building strong day-to-day relationships with transport managers and operational teams.
\nThe role will involve a strong employee relations element alongside absence management, manager coaching, recruitment support, workforce planning and continuous improvement.
\nIt would suit someone who enjoys being visible within the operation, understands the pace and demands of transport or logistics and can confidently manage several priorities at the same time.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nProvide day-to-day HR advice to transport managers and operational teams.
\nManage and advise on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence and capability cases.
\nCoach managers on employment law, HR policies and consistent people management.
\nSupport absence management, return-to-work processes and absence-reduction plans.
\nBuild effective relationships with drivers, managers and operational colleagues.
\nMaintain accurate case notes, HR records, correspondence and employee documentation.
\nSupport recruitment, onboarding and training-compliance activity.
\nAssist with workforce planning, organisational change and continuous improvement.
\nSupport employee engagement, wellbeing and communication initiatives.
\nProduce HR reports and maintain accurate information on HR systems.
\nAbout You:
\nYou may currently be working as an HR Advisor, HR Officer, People Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor, ER Advisor, HR Generalist or Site HR Advisor.
\nYou will ideally have:
\nPrevious experience in an HR advisory or generalist HR role.
\nStrong employee relations experience.
\nConfidence managing investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
\nGood knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
\nExperience coaching and advising operational managers.
\nStrong organisation and case-management skills.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication.
\nA practical, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
\nGood HR systems and Microsoft Office skills.
\nA full UK driving licence.
\nExperience within transport, logistics, distribution, fleet operations, warehousing, manufacturing, FMCG, food, agriculture or another operational environment would be highly advantageous.
\nA CIPD qualification or current CIPD study would be beneficial but is not essential.
