Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • \n
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
  • \n
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • \n
  • Install, relocate, and improve production machinery and equipment.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • \n
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • \n
  • Participate in shift work, overtime, and call-outs when required.
  • \n
What We're Looking For\n
    \n
  • Multi-skilled engineer with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
  • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • \n
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, compressors, and industrial production equipment.
  • \n
  • Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition desirable).
  • \n
  • Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • \n
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • \n

Hours of Work Continental Shift Pattern

\n

36.50hrs per week working on our continental shift pattern, which involves working 3 x 12 hour 10 minute shifts per week rotating around days and nights (5.50am to 6pm/5.50pm to 6am).
