We are looking for a passionate Supplier Technical Manager to help raise quality standards, strengthen supplier partnerships and support our clients' ambitious sustainability mission.

\n

The Opportunity

\n

If you enjoy building strong supplier relationships, love solving quality challenges and have a passion for fresh produce, this could be the perfect next step.

\n

Working alongside Buying, Sourcing, Operations and Quality teams, you'll become the technical expert supporting growers and suppliers to deliver exceptional quality, food safety and compliance across the supply chain.

\n

From supplier audits and performance improvement to packaging innovation and sustainability initiatives, you'll play a key role in ensuring every product meets the highest standards.

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

Building trusted relationships with growers, suppliers and production partners.

\n

Driving supplier performance through technical support and continuous improvement.

\n

Leading supplier audits, technical assessments and approval programmes.

\n

Investigating quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions.

\n

Monitoring supplier KPIs, quality trends and performance data.

\n

Supporting sourcing decisions through technical expertise and product knowledge.

\n

Leading technical input into product launches, supplier trials and innovation projects.

\n

Managing supplier compliance, certification and technical documentation.

\n

Supporting packaging improvements with sustainability and food safety in mind.

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

You'll ideally have:

\n

Experience within Fresh Produce.

\n

A background in Supplier Technical, Technical Management, Quality or Supplier Quality.

\n

Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and UK food safety legislation.

\n

Experience conducting supplier audits and managing corrective actions.

\n

Knowledge of schemes including GlobalG.A.P., Red Tractor, LEAF or similar.

\n

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action.

\n

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

\n

Experience working closely with growers and supplier networks.

\n
