Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4HA
Contract type: Part time, 20 hours per week, Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence, as driving the home's vehicles will form part of the role and must be over the age of 25 (for insurance purposes).
Rate: £13.77

\nAbout the role
\nOur Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring that the fabrics, fittings, fixtures and equipment in the home are in good condition.
\nNo two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- general maintenance \n
- decorating \n
- gardening \n
- plumbing \n
- tiling \n
- carrying out regular risk assessments, audits and checks. \n
Youll put our people at the heart of everything you do whether thats painting bedrooms, building planters in the garden or putting pictures on peoples walls. We can guarantee that whatever you bring to the role, youll see great rewards.
\nIf you havent worked in the care sector before, well help you feel right at home from the start with our induction, buddy and ongoing training programmes.
About you

- able to demonstrate a broad range of maintenance skills \n
- knowledgeable about, and experienced in, health and safety legislation and regulations \n
- a great communicator, both verbally and in writing \n
- someone with digital skills and an understanding of how IT works \n
- a team player \n
- kind, caring and understanding. \n
- Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence, as driving the home's vehicles will form part of the role and must be over the age of 25 (for insurance purposes). \n
