\nPermanent | Christchurch, hybrid | Delivery | Cloud Implementation (AWS)
\nThe role:
\nWe are seeking a Technical Operations Lead to coordinate and drive technical activity across our Operations Management function, ensuring operational, platform, security and product-related work is prioritised, planned, communicated and delivered effectively. In this role, you will act as the central coordination point between Operations, Product Management, R&D, Cyber Security, Project Delivery and Service Delivery teams, helping to ensure technical initiatives are delivered efficiently and with clear visibility across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment, enjoys working across multiple teams (sales, R&D, operations) to technically coordinate and confidently manage priorities, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
\nResponsibilities:
\nCoordinate and manage operational technical work queues, ensuring priorities are aligned across Support, MIS, D&EI and Cyber Security teams.
\nMaintain visibility of deployments, upgrades and releases, ensuring implementation activities are planned and coordinated effectively.
\nAct as the primary operational contact for Product Lifecycle Managers and Stream Leads, providing operational input into new initiatives and technical changes.
\nIdentify and escalate delivery risks, resource constraints, operational impacts and dependencies that may affect delivery timelines.
\nChair technical coordination meetings and stand-ups, driving actions through to completion and ensuring accountability across teams.
\nCoordinate platform, security, patching and remediation activities across multiple products and services.
\nMaintain and improve technical documentation, operational processes and knowledge management practices.
\nSupport Project Delivery teams by coordinating operational readiness, technical handovers and infrastructure dependencies.
\nSkills & Experience:
\nExperience coordinating technical, operational, infrastructure or service delivery activities.
\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
\nExperience managing competing priorities, risks, dependencies and delivery timelines.
\nExcellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
\nExperience facilitating meetings, workshops or technical coordination sessions.
\nAbility to interpret technical information and translate it into clear operational actions.
\nExperience maintaining technical documentation and tracking actions through to completion.
\nDesirable skills:
\nExperience working within a software, SaaS or technology-driven environment.
\nKnowledge of IT operations, platform services, infrastructure or cyber security practices.
\nExperience coordinating change, release or deployment activities.
\nUnderstanding of operational readiness and service transition processes.
\nExperience working with cross-functional technical delivery teams.
\nFamiliarity with governance, risk and compliance processes.
