\nAs an HGV Technician, you'll be working on a mixed fleet of HGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.\n
Duties of an HGV Technician:\n
\n

\n
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
\n
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
\n
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards.
\n
• Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, and other general maintenance.
\n
• Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
\n
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
\n

Requirements of an HGV Technician \n
\n

\n
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
\n
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
\n
• Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance requirements.
\n
• NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds would be desirable
\n
• A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
\n
• Full UK Driving licence
\n
• HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
\n

\nWeek 1 Monday to Friday 06:00 14:00\n
\nWeek 2 Monday to Thursday 14:00 22:00 & Friday 14:00 20:00\n
\nAlternative Saturdays 06:00 12:00 (paid at time and a half)\n
