\nSwitch Car and Van Rental are recruiting for a Logistics Advisor in our Fleet Department based at our Head Office in Exeter.
\nIn this role, you will be responsible for arranging internal and external vehicle movements of sold and fleet vehicles.

\nThe key responsibilities include:
\nProducing, controlling, and monitoring tasks in the office within deadlines
\nProducing daily/weekly reports to management, as well as ad hoc reporting
\nOrganising vehicle movements by allocation of jobs to our logistics providers in most efficient way
\nAdministration of jobs in progress
\nUpdating internal and external systems daily
\nDealing with any queries or potential issues from internal departments and logistics providers
\nHandling of multiple telephone calls to administer the above and general queries
\nResponsible for allocating of vehicle movements by internal and external suppliers
\nMaintaining valuable supplier relationships
\nCo-ordinating vehicles to be delivered within set deadlines
\nManaging multiple vehicle movements across the country
\nAchieving the best possible cost and geographical efficiencies
\nPersonal Attributes
\nProficient in MS Office (especially excel and preferably Access)
\nBe assertive, personable, and good interpersonal skills
\nAble to work as part of a team whilst also using own initiative
\nBe able to problem solve & identify potential problem patterns
\nAbility to prioritise and multitask in changing daily requirements
\nSkills, Experience and/or Qualifications Required
\nAn excellent telephone manner and written skills
\nExperience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
\nAbility to work to deadlines
\nExperience in a similar role is desirable
\nHours of work
\nMonday Friday
\n37.5 hours per week
\nHours worked between 8am 5pm
