Section Engineer

Overview:

A leading UK civil engineering contractor is recruiting two Section Engineers to work on a major highways infrastructure project in Oxfordshire. This role is suited to engineers with strong leadership and technical capability within highways delivery.

? Highways experience is essential. Candidates from HS2-only backgrounds will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing sections of highways works from start to completion
\n
• Coordinating Site Engineers and subcontractors
\n
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
\n
• Overseeing quality assurance and technical compliance
\n
• Liaising with site management and engineering teams
\n

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Section Engineer on highways projects
\n
• Minimum 2 years highways experience
\n
• Valid CSCS card
\n
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
\n
• Own transport required
\n
