People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Category C1 Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Home Delivery Driver, or Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering up to £15.00 per hour, guaranteed 50 hours' pay per week, immediate starts, ongoing long-term work, and genuine opportunities for progression within a supportive and professional transport environment.

Even if you finish your route early, you will still be paid for a minimum of 50 hours per week.

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your duties will include:

 • Safely operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
\n  • Loading and unloading boxes and packages for onward delivery
\n  • Loading the vehicle for the following day's deliveries
\n  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
\n  • Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
\n  • Maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records
\n  • Communicating effectively with depot and delivery teams
\n  • Following food hygiene and temperature control regulations when transporting food
\n  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Essential Skills

As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will need:

 • Valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
\n  • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C1 vehicles
\n  • Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
\n  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsement codes
\n  • Good communication and English language skills
\n  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
\n  • Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
\n  • Ability to pass a DS/DBS background check

Desirable Experience

 • Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous
\n  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial
\n  • Previous food delivery or temperature-controlled delivery experience would be desirable

Training Provided

 • Vehicle safety and compliance training provided
\n  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
