Application Operations Engineer
Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, which is seeking a Application Operations Engineer for an initial 12-month assignment, with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working | Exeter - 1 day per. week

The ideal candidate should hold an active security clearance and have a strong background in Application Support, demonstrating the following skills and experience:

• Experience in supporting and configuring products on the Vortex platform.
\n
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Handlebars.js and Mustache.js (for product template logic) as well as Typst (for product output layouts).
\n
• A solid understanding of common services, applications, and protocols.
\n
• Experience in Configuration Management, including maintaining secure configurations and accurate information, as well as managing service availability and capacity.
\n
• Understanding of Change Management processes, including implementing change requests and driving continual service improvement.
\n
• Strong knowledge in Incident Management, including the identification and logging of incidents.
\n
