\nTillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 35 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia.
\nDue to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quarry Manager based at our East Bilney Sand & Gravel Quarry. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\nCarry out daily safety, maintenance and service checks;
\nSafe and Efficient Operation of all the on-site equipment;
\nWork closely and follow instructions from the Production Manager;
\nFollow the Quarry Development Plan;
\nMeet site Productivity Targets;
\nIntegrate with and work as part of a small team;
\nMaintaining existing and implementing new Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Training;
\nManaging and overseeing the safe operation of the Quarry and the planned preventative maintenance of all site equipment;
\nEnsuring the Plant meets operational and production requirements;
\nProactively managing both mandatory training and developmental training of staff;
\nCarry out additional Quarry Duties as required.
\nWHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
\nAt least 3 years experience managing and leading teams;
\nExcellent awareness of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation;
\nCompleted, or be working towards, a SHE NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent);
\nExcellent understanding of Quarry Regulations 1999 and ACOP;
\nA good understanding of plant and machinery, including maintenance planning.
