Overview\n

We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join a project in North Shields. This is for 2 weeks starting Monday3rd August 2026, offering £22.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
\n
• Load, move, and stockpile materials as directed.
\n
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any defects.
\n
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
\n
• Work closely with the site team to ensure efficient site operations.
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Loading Shovel qualification.
\n
• Previous experience operating loading shovels on construction, quarry, or industrial sites.
\n
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
\n
• Full PPE.
\n
