Laminator Operator

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Laminator Operator to join a leading manufacturing company based in Wednesbury.\n
\nThis exciting opportunity is due to start in October and offers the chance to become part of a well-established and successful business.\n
\nDuties include (but are not limited to):\n
\n

\n
• Set up and operate the foiling laminator safely and efficiently
  
\n
• Prepare profiles and foils for production
  
\n
• Monitor machines settings, temperatures, adhesive applications and line speeds to ensure optimum performance
  
\n
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure excellent finish, adhesion and colour consistency
  
\n
• Identity and rectify minor production issues and escalate more complex faults where necessary
  
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
  
\n
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the laminating equipment
  
\n
• Work closely with production, quality and maintenance teams to achieve production targets
  
\n

\n
\nThe ideal candidate:\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience operating laminating equipment is preferred
  
\n
• Experience within the window, extrusion, plastics or manufacturing industry would be advantageous
  
\n
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality products
  
\n
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence in adjusting machine settings
  
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
\n
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new processes and equipment
  
\n
• Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
  
\n

\nWhats on offer:\n
\n

\n
• £15 per hour (depending on experience)
  
\n
• Monday to Thursday (7:00am 17:30pm)
  
\n
• Temporary to permanent position
  
\n
• Full training on foiling laminator
  
\n
