Essential requirements:

\n
• Proven experience as an HV Wireman/Fitter working on 11kV-400kV substation projects
\n
• Experience with panel wiring, relay and protection panels, control panels and HV electrical equipment
\n
• Strong background in cable installation, glanding, termination and earthing within HV substations
\n
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
\n
• Experience carrying out HV busbar installation and electrical fitting activities
\n
• Knowledge of substation installation standards, safe systems of work and quality requirements
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of installation and commissioning teams on live HV infrastructure projects
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Experience working on National Grid, UKPN or SSE projects
\n
• Experience on BESS or renewable energy projects
\n
• ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification
\n
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
\n
• Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities within substations
\n
