Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for aCE Powder Tanker Driverto join ourBreedon Cementteam inAldridge, WS9 8XT.

GXO operate on behalf of Breedon Cement to provide transport for both bulk powder and palletised deliveries. The role of the tanker driver requires the loading and pressurised discharge of powder products predominantly cement.

This is afull-time, permanentposition, working on aMonday to Fridaypattern, starting between 04:00 06:00,50 hours per week.

What youll do on a typical day:

\n
• You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement and delivery of our customers products, servicing the Construction sector
\n
• Ensuring that deliveries are on time and that health and safety procedures are followed to a high standard
\n
• Conductvehicle checks and maintenanceto ensure roadworthiness and compliance
\n
• Complete all requireddocumentation and delivery recordsaccurately
\n
• As required, contracted to 2 nights out per week
\n

What you need to succeed at GXO:

\n
• Valid Category CE (Class 1) UK driving licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Previous experience operating bulk powder tankers preferred, however full training will be provided
\n
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
\n
• Must be fully flexible on working hours
\n
