\nWhat is on offer as a Disability Assessor?
\n- Excellent starting salary at £41,612pa
\n- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
\n- Full time and part time available (4 or 5 days per week available)
\n- Grimsby based when working on-site
\n- 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 5 more days + pension
\n- Hybrid/home working available
\n- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided
\nWhat does the Disability Assessor role involve?
\nThe Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3-5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

\nWhat we look for;
\nAn NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with1 years or morebroad post-registration experience
\nSomeone whos proactive and keen to learn
\nExcellent oral and written communication skills
\nCompetent IT and computer skills
\nComfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
