An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter Operator & Sliding Head Setter Operator to join a well-established company!

\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced machinists to join one of the UK's leading award-winning manufacturers of high-quality special fasteners.
\nDue to continued growth and expansion, we currently have two positions available:
\nCNC Programmer Setter Operator
\nSliding Head Machine Setter Operator
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nProgramming, setting and operating CNC or sliding head machines.
\nProducing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
\nWorking from engineering drawings and specifications.
\nSelecting appropriate tooling and machining methods.
\nAdjusting and optimising existing programmes.
\nCreating programmes for new jobs.
\nConducting self-inspection and quality checks throughout production runs.
\nMaintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
\nWorking effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative.
\nOperating different machines as required by production demands.
\nEssential Requirements
\nApplicants must have:
\nPrevious experience in CNC programming, setting and operating, or sliding head machine setting and operation.
\nExperience using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, calipers and gauges.
\nThe ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, particularly for turned and threaded components.
\nA strong understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
\nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

\nWorking Hours:
\nMonday to Thursday: 7:00am 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am 3:45pm
