An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established company with over 75 years of industry experience. Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
  • \n
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
  • \n
  • Complete routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.
  • \n
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring they meet the required safety and compliance standards.
  • \n
  • Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and rectify faults.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA regulations and manufacturer standards.
  • \n
  • Complete job cards and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • \n
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop.
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Technician, Light Vehicle Technician, or in a similar role.
  • \n
  • Vehicle Technicians looking to transition into HGVs are encouraged to apply, as full training and support will be provided.
  • \n
  • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is preferred, although experienced candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • \n
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • \n
  • HGV Licence is advantageous but not essential.
  • \n
