Are you an experienced Calibration Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity?
\nWe have opportunities for Calibration Engineers to operate from our Bristol or Birmingham UKAS Laboratories.
\nAbout the Role\n
Your Key Responsibilities
\nJoining Rhopoint Metrology as a Calibration Engineer, you will undertake calibration and measurements in accordance with UKAS Calibration procedures, Traceable calibration procedures as well as Customers specific requirements and specifications.
\nYou will maintain all relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable format utilizing our calibration and database management Indysoft.
\nCalibration of Measuring equipment in varying disciplines including:
\nDimensional, Mechanical, Electrical DC & LF, Temperature, Torque, Pressure, Mass, (list non exhaustive).
\nRequirements\n
Preferred requirements
\nPrevious experience working in a Calibration Laboratory
\nElectrical Calibration DC/LF Equipment to UKAS Standards
\nAn understanding of BS EN ISO 17025 and or UKAS Calibration procedures
\nTechnical qualification such as, HNC, NVQ/BTEC, or signatory status, or relevant experience
\nKnowledge and or previous experience of calibration practices and theories
\nComputer literate with a knowledge Windows-based operating systems and or Indysoft.
\nExperience of working within Customer focused environment
\nMust be a Team Player
