Class 1 Driver

Romax Recruitment are looking for experienced HGV 1 Drivers to join one of the countries leading steel distribution companies in Scunthorpe DN16.

This is a great opportunity to gain permanent employment with a rapidly growing company.

Hours:

\n
• Monday to Friday - 4am - 7am Starts
\n
• Overtime is available
\n
• Minimum 10hrs guaranteed
\n
• £19.05 P/H (Inc Hol)
\n
• £23.53 OT (10+ daily)
\n
• Tramping £25 additional
\n
• Temp to perm
\n
• Perm bonuses
\n

Roles and responsibilities:

\n
• Multidrop work - up to 4-5 drops - Depot to depot/site.
\n
• Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at drop off.
\n
• Securing the load at the start and finish of each drop.
\n
• Ensuring Proof of Delivery are signed and returned.
\n
• Vehicle checks at the beginning and end of your shift.
\n
• Tramping available at an additional rate.
\n
• Full training on offer.
\n
• Understanding and experience of EHS requirements.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• 1 Year experience on HGV 1 Needed
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Tacho
\n
• Safety boots
\n
