An established and reputable care provider is seeking an experienced RegisteredManager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of its residential/nursing care homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded manager with a strong background in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional care standards, driving occupancy, managing financial performance and leading a dedicated team to deliver the highest quality service for residents.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

    \n
  • \n

    Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the care home.

  • \n
  • \n

    Provide inspirational leadership, fostering a positive culture centred on kindness, compassion and person-centred care.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ensure full compliance with all CQC regulations and relevant legislation, maintaining the highest standards of care and governance.

  • \n
  • \n

    Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating an environment where colleagues can thrive.

  • \n
  • \n

    Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial objectives are achieved while maintaining excellent standards of care.

  • \n
  • \n

    Develop and implement effective marketing and business development strategies to maximise occupancy.

  • \n
  • \n

    Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, commissioners and other stakeholders.

  • \n
  • \n

    Monitor quality assurance, risk management and clinical governance processes to drive continuous improvement.

  • \n
  • \n

    Work closely with the Operations Manager and wider support teams to deliver operational and commercial success.

  • \n

The successful candidate will be supported by experienced Operations and Central Support teams, alongside an established Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality and Housekeeping teams.

About You\n

Applicants should have:

    \n
  • \n

    Previous experience managing a residential or nursing care home.

  • \n
  • \n

    A strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.

  • \n
  • \n

    A proven track record of achieving or working towards Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • \n
  • \n

    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • \n
  • \n

    Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy and business performance within the private care sector.

  • \n
  • \n

    A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.

  • \n
  • \n

    The ability to drive continuous improvement and support the ongoing growth of the service.

  • \n
  • \n

    NMC registration and post-registration experience is desirable but not essential.

  • \n
