Multi Skilled Commercial Gas Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £47,000 DOE\n
\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management and building services team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and minor installation works.\n
\n The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring building services are maintained to the highest standards, delivering a professional service while maintaining compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems. \n
- Service, maintain and repair commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant equipment. \n
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime. \n
- Complete minor installation and replacement works as required. \n
- Undertake basic plumbing and mechanical maintenance duties where required. \n
- Carry out inspections and ensure all work complies with current legislation and industry standards. \n
- Complete all required documentation accurately using electronic or paper-based systems. \n
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and colleagues to provide excellent customer service. \n
- Participate in an on-call rota where required. \n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations. \n

- Previous experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer within facilities management, building services or a similar environment. \n
- Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent). \n
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial boilers and heating systems. \n
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills. \n
- Basic plumbing and mechanical maintenance experience. \n
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures. \n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills. \n
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. \n
- A full UK driving licence. \n
- \n
- LPG qualifications. \n
- Domestic Gas qualifications. \n
- F-Gas certification. \n
- 18th Edition. \n
- Electrical knowledge or additional building services experience. \n
- Experience working within schools, healthcare, retail or commercial buildings. \n
- \n
