Breakdown and Rescue Technician - North Yorkshire Area

Macadams are a well-established family business with over 60 years in the vehicle breakdown industry, we are currently looking for a Breakdown and Recovery Technician who will attend various breakdown scenarios in one of our specialised vans. To diagnose a variety of faults and where possible get the member up and running, and back on their onward journey. This role will include vehicle movements using our specialist trailers to various locations.

Due to the nature of work undertaken, the successful applicant must pass the relevant police authority vetting to be able to complete elements of the role.

4 on 4 off - Rotating shift pattern

10 or 12 hour shifts available

DAY & NIGHT shifts available

Due to the nature of the job and work load, you will be required to complete on call duties

Training provided

Competitive rates of pay to be discussed at interview level

Full uniform and PPE equipment supplied

Requirements:

FULLUK driving licence

Level 1-3 light vehicle repair and maintenance preferred

Previous industry knowledge would be an advantage but not essential

Able to work flexible hours

Clean and presentable and of good nature

Strong communicator
