Rate to £380 a dayA leading RC Frame and Groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team on a prestigious £8 million RC Frame and Groundworks project in High Wycombe.This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established specialist contractor known for delivering complex reinforced concrete and groundworks projects to the highest standards. You'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the scheme, working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure quality, programme, and safety objectives are achieved.Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Managing and overseeing engineering activities on site.
\n
• Setting out for RC frame and groundworks packages.
\n
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
\n
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
\n
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
\n
• Producing and reviewing QA documentation and as-built records.
\n
• Liaising with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders.
\n
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where required.
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on RC Frame and Groundworks projects.
\n
• Strong setting out and surveying skills.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and groundworks.
\n
• Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
\n
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
\n
• CSCS card (essential).
\n
• SMSTS qualification desirable.
\n
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
\n
