Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult ADHD for remote only role working with a specialist provider for neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments.

This vacancy is for a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in Adult ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders to work with a well established assessment and treatment provider. This role offers remote only work with a private service that provides an exceptional level of patient care to adults with neurodevelopmental conditions. Our client are a CQC registered service who are passionate about providing much need assessment and treatment to neurodivergent individuals.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a full time and remote basis on an ongoing, fixed term contract.

The Role:

\n
• Consultant in Adult Psychiatry with experience in ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders.
\n
• Working with a CQC registered, neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment provider.
\n
• Full Time Role Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
\n
• Start date ASAP.
\n
• Remote working- Work from abroad (subject to approval)
\n
• Competitive rates of pay on PAYE basis
\n

The Duties:

\n
• Completing diagnostic ADHD assessments with adults
\n
• Provide leaderships to the MDT
\n
• Working closely with the medication management pathway
\n
• Providing senior clinical oversight for complex or escalated cases
\n

Specification:

\n
• Experience in completing ADHD assessments and treatment appointments with adults
\n
• Full time availability (We cannot offer sessional work at this time)
\n
• Laptop and phone provided
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
\n
• Registered on the specialist register (CCT/CESR)
\n
• Experienced & knowledgeable of ADHD assessment, diagnosis and starting patients on medication
\n
• Ability to provide high quality reports.
\n
• A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes
\n
