Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer\n

Location:Hertfordshire and surrounding areas
Salary:£40,000£46,000, depending on experience
Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week 8am - 5pm

Orion Building Engineering Services is looking for an experiencedAir Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineerto join our expanding team.

\n

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and ambitious company with more than 20 years industry experience. You will work across a varied portfolio of commercial sites, supported by an experienced operations and office team.

The role\n

You will carry out:

    \n
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
    • \n
  • Fault-finding, diagnosis and repairs
    • \n
  • Servicing VRF, split air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
    • \n
  • Installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment
    • \n
  • F-Gas leak testing and compliance checks
    • \n
  • Completion of electronic service and commissioning records
    • \n
  • Providing professional technical advice to customers
    • \n
What we need\n

You must have:

    \n
  • A minimum ofNVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or an equivalent qualification
    • \n
  • CurrentF-Gas Category 1 certification
    • \n
  • Ideally at least three years post-qualification experience
    • \n
  • Experience working with commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
    • \n
  • Good knowledge of current F-Gas regulations
    • \n
  • Strong fault-finding and customer service skills
    • \n
  • The ability to work independently and manage your workload
    • \n
  • A full UK driving licence
    • \n
  • The ability to obtain a satisfactory DBS check
    • \n
