Maintenance Coordinator
Job Description
Owen Mumford is looking to hire an ambitious Maintenance Coordinator! Could this be your next role?
\nAs the Maintenance Coordinator you will provide oversight and organisational direction in order to meet the requirements of our Preventative and Reactive Plant Maintenance activities. You will have the responsibility for the coordination of internal and external customers / service providers, and they shall drive the on time completion of maintenance activities across the sites.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Prioritising PPM activities & proactively liaising and influencing multiple internal as well as external customers and suppliers as necessary to organise the on time completion of all required PPMs \n
- Manage the day-to-day stores / spares systems ensuring that all critical spares are identified and appropriately stocked \n
- Maintenance of asset lists, maintenance schedules & plans, reviewing & updating as required. \n
- Ensure that all PPM and Reactive maintenance records are completed and signed off in accordance with our procedures. \n
- Manage the site induction and safety of contractors related to plant maintenance \n
- Develop and maintain processes for tracking the completion of all PPMs \n
- Produce training programs and documentation giving step by step instructions for completing tasks. \n
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Working knowledge of current safety regulations and legislation. \n
- Relevant working knowledge in a regulated industry and GMP. \n
- Ability to demonstrate theoretical knowledge with practical application. \n
- Proven experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment that includes moulding and assembly machinery. \n
- Strong skills in mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair. \n
- Make decisions to maximise plant output and efficiency and balance those decisions with GMP, safety, product quality and cost issues. \n
- NVQ level 3 in related topic. \n
- Recognised multi-skilled engineering apprenticeship. \n
- ONC/HNC qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering. \n
