\nThe Role Activities Coordinator - working 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis
A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator\nCompanionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents
\nCreating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources.
\nEvent planning our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents.
\nResident interaction you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition.
\nExternal communications as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents.
\nMobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis.
\nSocial activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.
\nTeam support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required
What Were Looking For\nA minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
\nCaring, positive, and reliable individuals
\nPrevious care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
