Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

CDS Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quarry Driller / Quarry Machine Operative to join a well-established business based in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a company specialising in professional drilling and blasting services across a wide range of quarrying and construction projects.

The Role\n

You will be responsible for operating drilling equipment safely and efficiently within a quarry environment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Operate quarry drilling machinery safely and effectively.
\n
• Carry out drilling activities in line with project specifications.
\n
• Follow all quarry health, safety and environmental procedures.
\n
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects.
\n
• Work closely with the site team to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
\n
• Comply with all company policies and site regulations.
\n

Requirements\n

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• NVQ Level 2 (relevant qualification)
\n
• Quarry Safety Passport
\n
• NPORS Connect qualification
\n
• Previous quarry drilling or quarry machine operating experience
\n
• A strong commitment to health and safety
\n
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
